How to Submit an application for the AQG Speakers Bureau

AQG membership is NOT required for inclusion in the Speakers Bureau. To apply, download and complete both the application form and an IRS W9 form.  Return both via USPS mail to the AQG Office (see address here) or electronically to the AQG Traveling Teacher Director (travteach@azquiltersguild.org)

You will be contacted after the intial receipt of your application regarding the status of your application, and annually thereafter for continued inclusion in the Speakers Bureau.  AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel a Speaker's listing at any time, and shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing.

 


How to Submit an entry for the AQG Services Directory

AQG membership IS required to offer quilt related services to the members of AQG and the greater community.  To submit an entry, send the following information to the AQG Communications Director (newsletter@azquiltersguild.org)

  • The AQG Member's name, phone number, and contact information
  • The name of the Service
  • A short description of the Service - note that due to the non-profit status of AQG, we cannot advertise the prices of your services
  • Optional: physical address (city and zip) or website for the Service

All entries are subject to approval before posting.  AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel a service listing at any time.  AQG shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing. 

You will be contacted after the initial receipt of your submission, as notification that the entry has been posted.  The entry will remain in the AQG Services Directory until the end of the Membership year (June 30th), dependent on the Member's continued good standing in the organization.

 


How to Submit an item for the AQG Quilters Classifieds Pages

AQG membership IS required to list an item on the AQG Classifieds Pages.  To submit an listing, send the following information to the AQG Communications Director (newsletter@azquiltersguild.org)

  • The AQG Member's name
  • Contat information: Public or Members-Only?
    • Public Contact information: if you indicate that your contact information can be public, then provide a phone number and/or contact email
    • Members-Only Contact information: if you indicate that your contact information should be available to Members-Only, please provide a phone number and/or email only for use during AQG internal confirmation.  The published listing will direct interested parties to the password protected Membership Directory
  • Classified Category: Announcements, Community, Events, Free Stuff, Garage Sales, Items Wanted, Items for Sale, Volunteers, Other (please specify)
  • A very short description of the item - note that due to the non-profit status of AQG, we cannot advertise the prices of your items
  • Optional: photo of item
  • Optional: entry expiration date

All listings are subject to approval before posting.  AQG reserves the right to edit, refuse, reject, or cancel an item listing at any time.  AQG shall not be held liable for any loss or expense that results from an error or omission in a listing.

You will be contacted after the initial receipt of your submission, as notification that the listing has been posted.  Unless we are instructed to remove the entry, it will remain on the posted until the end of the quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1), dependent on the Member's continued good standing in the organization.
