Sheila Arnold
Sheila Arnold 480-354-5382 sparnold@q.com
Crazy Little Bags - Perhaps you don't want to commit to an all day class but would like the inspiration. Sheila shows several bags and explains techniques used so you can do your own thing. She concludes with a surprise little quickie complete with handout of pattern and instructions.
Quilt Stories - This is a trunk show of Sheila's quilts(many she has made, some antiques) and the stories behind them. This is appropriate for quilting and non-quilting groups ie: Mother-Daughter banquets, general meetings, etc.
Strip Tease - This is a trunk show of strip=pieced quilts and lecture-demo of several techniques.
Joan Bassett
Joan Bassett 520-387-6328 jaybeehive@yahoo.com
Options Outside the Pattern - Joan is a designer of patterns and has been published in a number of magazines. In this class she shares ideas on creating and expanding from an original pattern. Actural quilts will be shown at the presentation. You'll be able to see the before and after results of changes to a pattern, not just embellishing.
Barbara Polston
Barbara Polston 480-961-5177 bpolston@q.com
Living with "Quilt Pox" - Barbara Polston, award-winning quilter and writer, takes you through her quilting career, offering her learning along the way. She'll show you the quilts that make her heart sing and those that should stay in the back of the closet. Take a light-hearted look at being obsessed with quilting. To sweeten the experience, door prizes are given out along the way!
Note: AQG does not schedule or supplment lecture/trunk shows. This is a lecture/trunk show and should be set up with the teacher. Fees need to be mutually agreed upon by the teacher and chapter. All fees are covered by the chapter exclusively.
